Celebrating 25 years of supporting Bowling Green City Schools​

The Bowling Green Schools Foundation is proud to announce its 25th anniversary of dedicated support to the Bowling Green City Schools. 

Since its inception in 1999, BGSF has distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships, teacher grants, and support for student and school programs, significantly enhancing the educational experience within the Bowling Green community.

To commemorate this milestone, the BGSF has planned multiple celebrations this fall, highlighting its longstanding impact and honoring the individuals who contribute to the success of Bowling Green City Schools.

The Bowling Green Schools Foundation invites the community to nominate individuals for the Community Member of the Year Award and the Excellence in Education Award.

Nominations have closed and recipients will be announced soon!

25 Years of Support, 25 Acts of Service

The Bowling Green Schools Foundation, in honor of its 25th anniversary of supporting BG students and teachers, strives to support our students in giving back to the community through 25 Acts of Service.

In partnership with local community organizations, the BG Schools Foundation is encouraging each student, grades K-12 to perform 25 Acts of Service over the course of the 2024-25 school year.

Calendars of scheduled and suggested opportunities will be provided to students in both elementary and secondary grades.

Those students meeting and/or exceeding the 25 Acts of Service will be eligible for prizes and incentives promoting a culture of service to the community.
